Improve Financial Literacy in New Jersey


The New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants is hosting a financial education program for women of all ages on Saturday, January 28, 2012, at Caldwell College in Caldwell, New Jersey.

Do It Herself - A Journey to Financial Freedom is a full-day conference designed to help women take control of their financial futures. Sharon Epperson, CNBC Senior Energy and Personal Finance Correspondent, will serve as keynote speaker. She'll discuss the importance of estate planning and how it can make a life crisis easier to bear.

The program continues with sessions addressing diverse financial concerns of women, such as Budgeting: Making Ends Meet; Asset Allocation and Investing; Smart Financial Steps for Unmarried Couples; Federal and New Jersey Estate Tax Update; Understanding Your Credit Score and Credit Report; Tax Tips; Money Management for Divorced or Separated Women; and other relevant topics.
