As the economy continues to sputter, choosing the right college major can be a high-stakes, nerve-wracking exercise for many students - particularly ones who will soon be on the hook for school loan payments.
But there are bright spots out there, if you do your homework. Graduates with accounting degrees, for example, enter a field projected to see employment growth of 22 percent for the decade ending in 2018, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
